- Great kit. Includes two spare of each powder core, and a spare button. I wasn't able to achieve legal harmonic suppression on all bands, and then i blew up my fdt86256, so now i'm waiting for replacements (spares i got from another seller on aliexpress were fakes). My advice is to order spare fdt86256 in advance (you should also get spare 74act00). Also, build the transformer t2 like in the picture supplied, don't try to wind in the same direction along the toroid like i did the first time, but just make sure you go through the hole in the same direction, then wind the primary along the toroid in the opposite direction, like the picture shows, not like how the schematic describes. Don't do what i did, instead tune your board with a nanovna first. Oh, and tape down your oled wire with kapton. Mine fell off after i soldered the header down and it was very difficult to unsolder it to fix it. I am determined to make it work, but i think i might just order another one and try again one day. 29 Dec 2025 20:50
